Andrea Fisher

Andrea has focused her career on creating bridges between knowledge-holders and decision makers on a variety of environmental topics. With Stanford’s Woods Institute for the Environment, Andrea worked to optimize relationships between researchers and policymakers in Washington, D.C., especially through tailored communications. Following her master’s in International Environmental Policy, Andrea joined the Study of Environmental Arctic Change (SEARCH). She planned and facilitated dialogues—including the Arctic Futures 2050 international conference—and furthered discussions on how to better inform Arctic decisions with Indigenous and scientific knowledge.

Andrea also has a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Law of the Sea, from UiT – The Arctic University of Norway. She currently lives in Oslo and will be joining the Business Integrity and Compliance team at KPMG. Andrea is also an artist and enjoys hiking and swimming.
