Mallory Hoffbeck is a research assistant with the Study of Environmental Arctic Change. She is a master’s candidate at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, in progress towards a degree in International Environmental Policy. In 2021 she received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Chinese from Pacific University where she also worked as a peer tutor and teaching assistant for social studies and language courses. Mallory’s research interests include political responses to climate change and the politics of conservation.
